  Christopher William Mercer, known professionally as Rusko, is a British electronic music producer and DJ, renowned for his influential role in the dubstep genre. He helped transform dubstep from an underground London sound to a global phenomenon, known for tracks like “Cockney Thug” and albums such asO.M.G.!andSongs. Rusko has collaborated with artists such as M.I.A., Cypress Hill, and Damian Marley, and released music on labels including Sub Soldiers, Mad Decent, and OWSLA.
